Courses: Service Excellence and Accessibility in Transportation


Course Details:
Service Excellence and Accessibility in Transportation for the taxi industry has been developed to help provide internationally competitive standards of service to customers and visitors traveling to and within British Columbia. The course reviews the importance of customer service skills, the importance of tourism in the provincial economy, making a positive first impression, tips for improving communication, serving customers with disabilities, handling customer concerns and effective listening. Principles for transporting people who experience specific disabilities is discussed and demonstrated. The course encourages drivers to take pride in themselves, in what they do and in where they live; while arming them with the tools to effectively serve a diverse client base of various ages, abilities, and needs.
